Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 15th International Conference on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology (ICCAP2023) in Kuching, Sarawak (on Borneo Island), Malaysia from the 7th to 9th August 2023. This will be the second time that the ICCAP will be hosted in Kuching and outside of London, UK.

The conference theme “Enhancing resilience in children, young people and families in a changing world” will take an integrated global and multidisciplinary perspective. ICCAP2023 is therefore of relevance to researchers and academics who do research with children, young people and their families, as well as to practitioners and policy makers who work within youth mental health, education (schools), social work, and youth justice systems.

Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, with its romantic history and charm is not only a unique tourism destination, but also an ideal base from which to go exploring. Sarawak, famously known as the “Hidden Paradise of Borneo”, and with its rich cultures, heritage and natural wonders, offers an exotic range of attractions to see and things to do.

Come join us at the ICCAP2023 in Kuching from August 7 - 9, 2023 for a fruitful intellectual experience and enjoy the warm hospitality that is unique to Sarawakians.

We look forward to welcoming you to Kuching.

Prof Dr Cecilia A Essau
